The amount of feels this post gives us! We all probably know these beloved Western art masterpieces, but not like this! Here are 20 great examples of classic paintings that have been reproduced creatively by a few very creative art lovers with photo cameras.
I will now be organizing to draw an iPad drawing a day in August, of my backer’s Happy! Final daily drawings will be posted on my blog, and incorporated into a picture book at the end of the month.

I took some photos a few years ago along the coastline near Pebble Beach. Finally got some time to draw this on my iPad. (Sketchbook Pro, Stylus)

"We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have." ~Frederick Keoni
I stood drawing this under the shade of a tree on a beautiful Michigan summer day over 4th July weekend.
What makes you happy? Let me know! Reply to this post with your happy in one word!

Let me draw your happy and join in the fun at Drawing Happy! Project
Saving a painting! This is one I drew earlier in the year on my iPad. I am not sure where I was, all I can remember is I didn’t finish the original as we had to leave and I didn’t take a reference photo, so it was left with a boring foreground. After cropping that out, I rather like the painting now!
